Our Story

The bond between a mother and daughter is unlike any other. For my mother Vicki and I, building a jewelry business founded on the same values, trust, and love as our relationship was a dream come true. Our store and dream came to life in Amarillo, Texas in 2018.

You can say I have been in the jewelry business my whole life. Every day I went to work at a jewelry store with my mom Vicki when she was pregnant with me. Vicki has been in the jewelry world for over 20 years now. When I was a freshman in college at Baylor University, I came home for Christmas Break. My mom was the buyer at Duncan & Boyd Jewelers and had lined up the perfect gift wrapping job for me to earn some extra coffee money for my next semester. Little did I know that my holiday job would ignite a passion that I would continue for the next nine years.

Behind the Name

Victoria Jones Jewelry is more than just our store’s name. Victoria Jones comes from our family’s name. Vicki & Torri are both short for Victoria, while Jones comes from Vicki’s maiden name and my middle name. Victoria Jones Jewelry always has been a project rooted in our passion for redefining tradition. It’s not about reinventing the wheel, but about capturing moments and making better versions of jewelry that we would want to own and pass down in our family. This mindset of creation and attention to detail has allowed us to spread encouragement and love, and to pioneer our path as we’ve grown into our store. Our promise to you is to welcome you into our family.

A bench jeweler is a craftsman who uses a combination of skills to make and repair jewelry. The best part about having a bench jeweler at our disposal is that your precious jewelry is always accessible. Instead of sending broken jewelry back to the manufacturer for a minor repair that may take months to get back, we can fix the problem and return your favorite jewelry to you in no time. If you are to inquire about the status of your repair, we can check with our bench jeweler with ease. We will inform you of the progress made, to reassure and to give a peace of mind. Our bench jeweler is a certified master jeweler that started his career in the jewelry business in 1981.

What is a Watchmaker?

A watchmaker is a person who makes or repairs watches and clocks. They are called watchmakers because they are required to make their watch parts and even their tools from scratch. At Victoria Jones Jewelry, we have a watchmaker who can fix your watch without sending it off to the manufacturer. Our watchmaker has received the Certified Watchmaker 21 title from the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute board of examiners and certifications from both Rolex and Breitling.
